Sprint courses shall not contain 180 degree turns.
...Especially not in the first 60 seconds of racing. Bottlenecks that force skiers to race single-file should be absolutely unacceptable in a sprint race.

So should sprint races be held on 1.2k straightaways in which each skier has a designated lane?
Nope.
Like many things in life, you'll find there is a large gray area between "1.2k straightaway" and "180 degree turn."
